Well there is not that much to say about this week except that all of my elective courses began so it's getting busy and starting to feel like actual school.

The amazing view I wake up to every morning! Anyway, now in addition to my general EU politics class and German language class, I am taking ...
Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation in the EU - I am so looking forward to this class where I will get to construct my very own business plan for a social enterprise addressing any sort of social challenge within the EU. Feel free to give me ideas although I already have many flowing!
Migration, Multiculturalism, and Ethnic Minorities in the EU - Also very much looking forward to this class as I find migration to be such a natural global trend and it will be interesting to look at it from a different context and perspective than the U.S.
Shifting Paradigms from 'Domestic' to 'European' Politics: Germany in the EU - Also excited about this class because it is being taught in German and I hope it will bring my German to the next level!

I got to see 'Fridays for the Future' in action when walking to class on Friday morning. I would've loved to join in but I really did not want to miss my class. Greta Thunberg, I am sorry if I let you down. It was great to see both young high school aged students as well as adult groups in their activism.

In Mainz for the weekend with my aunt and uncle! Look at this ginormous chicken in the middle of the market! Just chilling. Have never seen something like that at my local farmers market. Must be some fresh eggs.

Went for a little walk through a forest and got to take this terrifying cable car/pully system up and down. Great view of some winery's and even saw some people gathering grapes!
Till next weekend and Shana Tova!
